Tyms AI Launches Human-First Platform to Help Businesses Boost Productivity and Growth

As businesses across Africa and beyond look for practical ways to improve efficiency and remain competitive, Tyms AI has launched a new artificial intelligence platform designed to help medium-sized and enterprise companies automate routine work while allowing employees to focus on higher-value tasks.

The company says its platform is built around a human-first approach that uses artificial intelligence to support workers rather than replace them. By automating repetitive processes in departments such as finance, sales and marketing, businesses can free up time for employees to focus on decision-making, innovation and growth-oriented activities.

Tyms AI believes that while AI can process information and perform routine tasks at scale, human judgment remains essential for business success. The platform is designed to handle what the company describes as “the invisible work” that often consumes valuable time across organizations.

Each employee and customer is assigned a dedicated AI assistant capable of collecting data, conducting analysis and generating reports aligned with business objectives. This allows teams to spend less time on administrative processes and more time applying their expertise to strategic priorities.

The launch comes at a time when many organizations are exploring ways to adopt AI technologies without disrupting their workforce. Rather than positioning artificial intelligence as a replacement for employees, Tyms AI aims to make workers more productive by reducing manual workloads and accelerating business operations.

Combining Technology with Human Expertise

Tyms AI was founded by CEO Allan Rwakatungu and co-founder Arron Cleary, bringing together extensive experience in technology, entrepreneurship and investment.

Rwakatungu has more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector and has previously held leadership roles at MTN Mobile Money. He has also founded successful ventures including betPawa and Xente. Cleary is a well-known angel investor with a strong history of supporting high-growth African startups.

Their combined experience has shaped the company’s vision of creating an AI solution that addresses practical business challenges rather than simply introducing another technology tool to the market.

According to Rwakatungu, successful AI adoption requires more than software alone. Recognizing this, the company has introduced additional services designed to help businesses prepare for and successfully implement artificial intelligence across their operations.

Supporting Long-Term AI Adoption

Alongside the platform launch, Tyms AI is introducing Best Work Masterclasses and an AI Advisory consulting service to help organizations build the skills and systems needed to benefit from AI.

The Best Work Masterclasses are designed to provide professionals with hands-on training and a deeper understanding of how artificial intelligence can be applied within their specific industries and functions. Meanwhile, the AI Advisory service offers support ranging from readiness assessments to implementation planning and ongoing guidance.

This broader approach is intended to ensure that businesses have the right people, processes and data foundations in place before deploying AI solutions. By combining technology with training and advisory support, the company hopes to increase the likelihood of successful adoption and long-term business impact.

The Tyms AI platform is currently available through the web, with mobile, chat and integrated versions for Slack and Microsoft Teams expected later this year. The company is already engaging medium and enterprise businesses for pilot programs and deployments while also seeking strategic partnerships to support its growth.

In addition, Tyms AI has officially opened its seed funding round as it looks to expand its reach and accelerate adoption.
