The Talents Tunisie 2025 Hackathon is calling on innovators across Tunisia to design AI-powered solutions for EdTech and HealthTech. Held in partnership with the Mediterranean Forum on Artificial Intelligence (FMIA), the event opened applications on October 21, 2025, with a final pitch and awards ceremony set for November 21 in Tunis. By providing mentorship, visibility and cash prizes, the hackathon aims to support early-stage teams in creating practical, impactful projects that advance education and healthcare through technology.
The initiative is fully online and decentralized, allowing participants from all regions of Tunisia to collaborate and compete. The hackathon encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, creative problem-solving and responsible innovation, with a focus on projects that are adapted to the Tunisian and Mediterranean context. By fostering talent and innovation, the event seeks to make a positive impact on society by improving access to quality education and human-centered healthcare solutions.
The focus areas for 2025 are clear: EdTech, which aims to reinvent education through technology and HealthTech, which seeks to make healthcare more accessible, efficient and responsive to human needs. These areas reflect Tunisia’s growing interest in digital transformation and AI-driven innovation in key sectors that directly affect people’s lives.
The hackathon is open to a wide range of participants, including students from all disciplines who want to develop practical AI skills, researchers with applied or exploratory projects and entrepreneurs or innovators with promising ideas in education or healthcare. Participants may register individually or as teams and the program places a strong emphasis on diversity, encouraging the involvement of women, young researchers and participants from all regions of Tunisia.
The five finalist teams will have the opportunity to present their projects during a public pitch at FMIA, gaining visibility among investors, institutions and strategic partners. The two winning teams will be awarded cash prizes: 5,000 TND for first place and 3,000 TND for second place, along with official recognition within the Mediterranean Forum on Artificial Intelligence. This exposure provides a platform for early-stage innovators to accelerate their projects, attract support and potentially scale their solutions regionally.
The hackathon is supported by key partners including GOMYCODE and InstaDeep, both recognized for their commitment to AI education and applied technology solutions. These partnerships ensure that participants have access to expertise, mentorship and industry connections, which are critical for turning innovative ideas into impactful real-world solutions.
