RcrutAI Expands Panther Platform Into Commercial and Mixed-Use Real Estate

RcrutAI is expanding its Panther platform into commercial real estate and mixed-use development, giving developers a broader intelligence system to support land, planning, pricing and feasibility decisions.

Panther was initially launched as a real estate intelligence platform focused on residential development. It supports developers through different stages of decision-making, from land and market analysis to development mix, pricing, feasibility and strategy.

The latest expansion extends this model to commercial and mixed-use projects. It introduces analytical tools designed specifically for commercial development and the different decisions developers face in this segment.

Turning Commercial Land Analysis Into Real-Time Intelligence

One of the main additions is Commercial Land Intelligence. The new capability is designed to make commercial opportunity analysis faster and more accessible.

Instead of relying mainly on customised studies that can require significant time and effort, developers can use real-time analysis to understand the market and the opportunity around a particular site.

This is particularly relevant to mixed-use developments. Panther can combine residential and commercial intelligence in one analysis. This allows developers to examine the surrounding residential population, expected movement and potential commercial demand.

The platform also analyses projects around a site and looks at the number of units or keys within them. This can help developers estimate the size of the catchment area and the potential population base that could support commercial activity.

Panther also examines tenants and brands operating around the site. This gives developers a clearer view of the existing tenant mix and where potential gaps may exist.

The objective is to move beyond simply understanding what is already around a piece of land. Developers can also use the information to consider what is missing and which tenants or brands could be targeted for the project.

Another addition is the Parking Stress Test. The model analyses expected parking demand based on the commercial mix and expected usage of the development.

This can help developers assess whether surface and open-space parking will be enough or whether the project may require underground or multi-storey parking. It also connects parking decisions with land use, development costs, developable space and overall feasibility.

Building an Integrated Commercial Development System

Panther Commercial extends across several stages of the development process. These include Commercial Land Intelligence, Product Mix, Pricing, Parking Analysis, Tenant and Catchment Intelligence, Feasibility and development strategy.

The aim is to connect these decisions within one system rather than treating them as separate exercises.

Ahmed Zakaria, Co-Founder and CEO of RcrutAI, said the move into commercial and mixed-use development follows the original direction of Panther.

“Panther’s entry into commercial and mixed-use development represents a natural extension of the vision with which the platform began in the residential sector,” Zakaria said.

“The goal is not to build a separate set of tools for each sector, but rather to build a single intelligence layer that supports real estate development decisions across different asset types.”

Zakaria added: “Residential was the beginning. Commercial and mixed-use represent the next step.”

The expansion is part of RcrutAI’s wider plan to develop Panther beyond individual real estate asset classes.

“As Panther’s capabilities continue to expand, RcrutAI is working to build a broader ecosystem aimed at becoming the technological and intelligence infrastructure that real estate development companies rely on for their decisions, from land all the way through operations and investment,” Zakaria said.

He added that the latest expansion is not the end of the platform’s development.

“This is not the end of Panther’s expansion, but only a new milestone in a broader roadmap of what is to come,” he said.

With commercial and mixed-use capabilities now added, Panther is positioned to give developers a connected view of a project from the initial land opportunity through to its commercial planning and economic feasibility.
