MoneyHash has partnered with Geidea to expand payment capabilities available to businesses through MoneyHash’s unified payment infrastructure. The partnership gives businesses a simpler way to access Geidea’s online payment gateway and supported payment methods across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Businesses using MoneyHash will be able to connect to Geidea through their existing MoneyHash integration. They will not need to build and maintain a separate connection. This can reduce the technical work involved in adding payment services and allow businesses to manage Geidea alongside other providers within their existing payment stack.
The partnership also addresses a wider challenge facing businesses as they expand into new markets. Adding a new payment provider or payment method often requires separate integrations. These connections must then be maintained, monitored and operated. Over time, this can make payment systems more complex and increase the pressure on engineering teams.
Nader Abdelrazik, CEO and Co-founder of MoneyHash, said businesses should be able to focus their resources on products, customers and expansion rather than repeatedly rebuilding payment infrastructure.
“Businesses should be spending their time building great products, serving customers, and growing into new markets, not repeatedly rebuilding and maintaining payment infrastructure,” Abdelrazik said. He added that bringing Geidea’s regional capabilities into the MoneyHash ecosystem gives businesses a simpler way to access the infrastructure they need.
Expanding Payment Options Across the Region
Geidea brings significant regional payment capabilities to the partnership. Founded in Saudi Arabia in 2008, the fintech and payment solutions provider has grown its operations across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt.
The company provides payment acquiring services in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as well as payment aggregation capabilities in Egypt. Its online payment gateway supports local and international payment options, helping businesses serve customers across different markets.
For businesses operating across the region, the partnership provides greater flexibility in how payment services are accessed and managed. It also supports businesses as they enter new markets or respond to changing customer payment preferences.
Pankaj Kundra, CEO of Geidea UAE, said the collaboration is focused on making payments easier for businesses.
“At Geidea, we believe payments should be effortless, giving businesses the freedom to focus on growth,” Kundra said. He added that the partnership gives businesses greater choice and flexibility in managing payments and expanding across the region.
The collaboration reflects the growing need for payment infrastructure that can adapt as businesses expand, new payment methods emerge and customer preferences change.
The partnership was marked at Seamless Middle East in Dubai, where Kundra and Abdelrazik came together to celebrate the collaboration ahead of the official announcement.
