Kwikpik Partners with Temu to Strengthen Nigeria’s E-Commerce Logistics

Nigeria’s e-commerce sector is projected to grow significantly over the next three years, but the expansion also places greater pressure on the country’s logistics networks. Kwikpik’s partnership with Temu comes at a time when stronger last-mile delivery capacity is needed to support rising online purchases by consumers and businesses.

Kwikpik, Nigeria’s smart payment wallet and logistics super app, has been approved as a last-mile courier partner for Temu, the global e-commerce marketplace. The partnership will allow Nigerian Temu shoppers to receive their orders through Kwikpik when assigned as the delivery partner.

Customers will also be able to track their packages in real time. Deliveries will be made directly to homes and businesses across Nigeria.

The partnership could help improve the final stage of e-commerce fulfilment in a market where delivery remains a major challenge. It also supports Temu’s efforts to build a reliable local logistics network as it expands its presence in Nigeria.

Strengthening Nigeria’s last-mile delivery network

Temu entered the Nigerian market in late 2024 and quickly gained attention among local consumers. By February 2025, the platform had become the most downloaded app on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, overtaking several established local platforms.

Its direct-from-factory pricing model has also attracted consumers and small businesses. Temu offers more than 600 product categories, giving Nigerian shoppers and SMEs access to a wide range of products at competitive prices.

The growth of platforms such as Temu is contributing to rising demand for efficient delivery services. Nigeria’s e-commerce market generated an estimated $8.53 billion in revenue in 2024 and is projected to reach $14.92 billion by 2029. The market is expected to grow at an annual rate of about 11.82 percent.

However, continued growth will depend partly on the ability of logistics providers to handle increasing order volumes. Traffic congestion, fragmented addressing systems and concerns about delivery reliability remain challenges for businesses operating in the sector.

Kwikpik has built its logistics operations around these challenges. The company operates across Nigeria and has physical offices in Lagos, Abuja and Benin City. Its logistics network combines route optimisation technology, a vetted rider network and warehousing capabilities.

Through the partnership, packages assigned to Kwikpik will be collected from Temu’s fulfilment centre. Customers can then monitor their orders through Kwikpik’s live tracking dashboard until they reach their final destination.

Paul Ifegwu, Chief Operations Officer of Kwikpik, said the partnership demonstrates the company’s ability to manage deliveries at scale.

“This partnership with Temu is a strong validation of the operational depth we’ve built and our ability to execute reliably at scale,” Ifegwu said.

He said the partnership also reflects the development of Nigeria’s logistics infrastructure as demand from global e-commerce companies increases.

“It’s not just a milestone for us. It signals that Nigeria’s logistics infrastructure is evolving to meet the demands of global e-commerce,” he said.

Creating opportunities for businesses

The Temu partnership is also part of Kwikpik’s wider strategy to expand its corporate and platform partnerships.

The company is open to working with e-commerce marketplaces that need local courier services. It also targets manufacturers and wholesalers that require last-mile distribution. Small businesses moving away from informal dispatch arrangements can use its delivery infrastructure as well.

International brands entering Nigeria are another potential market for Kwikpik. Such businesses can use local logistics support to manage deliveries and improve their customer experience.

Kwikpik’s API integration allows digital platforms to connect its delivery infrastructure directly to their checkout and order management systems. Its merchant dashboard also gives businesses a single platform to manage dispatch, track deliveries and monitor fulfilment performance.

Founded in 2023, Kwikpik operates as a super app combining logistics, financial services and digital commerce. Its services include parcel delivery, food and grocery ordering, bill payment automation and a multi-currency wallet supporting both fiat and digital assets.

The platform is built on the Hedera blockchain, which supports its focus on security and transparency. Kwikpik currently operates nationwide, with offices in Lagos, Abuja and Benin City, and plans to establish more fulfilment centres.

Its logistics arm is licensed and regulated by the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST).
