Fusepay has launched Fuse360, an AI-native operating platform designed to help wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers improve the way they manage their daily operations. The new platform brings together business operations, payments and artificial intelligence in one connected system, giving businesses across the Indian Ocean and Africa a more efficient way to manage inventory, orders, invoicing, customer credit, collections and supplier relationships.
The launch marks another step in Fusepay’s vision of building technology that addresses real operational challenges faced by businesses in emerging markets. Licensed as a Payment Service Provider by the Central Bank of Seychelles, the company has focused on solving the disconnect between how businesses operate and how money moves. Together, Fuse360 and FusePay create what the company describes as an AI-native Operating and Financial Operating System, allowing operations and payments to work together instead of through disconnected platforms.
To date, Fusepay has raised more than US$350,000 in pre-seed funding from Hustle Fund, Everywhere Ventures, First Check Ventures and Startup Istanbul, while also attracting additional investors including Velocity Digital and angel investor Ashwin Ravichandran.
Solving the Real Challenges Facing Trade Businesses
Fusepay says its journey began with a different understanding of the problem. Initially, the company believed payments were the biggest challenge facing businesses. However, after working closely with wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers across Seychelles, the team realised that payments represented only one part of a much larger issue.
Many businesses were managing inventory through one system, invoices through another, customer credit on spreadsheets, retailer communication on WhatsApp and payments through banks or cash. This meant employees spent significant time manually reconciling payments, updating customer balances and verifying transactions because information was scattered across multiple systems.
That experience shaped the development of Fuse360.
“We didn’t build Fuse360 because the world needed another ERP,” said Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Vidhyasahar Thiyagarajan. “We built it because we saw businesses spending more time managing disconnected systems than growing their business.”
Instead of simply recording business activities like traditional enterprise software, Fuse360 is designed to actively support daily operations. The platform introduces AI agents that assist both front-office and back-office teams by automating repetitive tasks such as payment reconciliation, reporting, collections, customer credit monitoring and operational analysis.
Because the AI works directly within the platform, it understands invoices, inventory movement, payment history, supplier relationships and customer records without requiring employees to move information between different applications. The objective, according to the company, is not only to reduce manual work but also to improve visibility, minimise errors and support better business decisions.
Fuse360 also introduces what Fusepay describes as Vertical AI. Unlike general-purpose enterprise software built to serve many industries, the platform has been developed specifically for wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers whose operations depend on inventory movement, retailer networks, supplier relationships and customer credit management.
The company believes this industry-specific approach allows the software to understand business context rather than simply storing information. For example, the platform can analyse customer payment behaviour, identify potential credit risks and support informed lending decisions based on operational and financial data.
Built in Seychelles with Regional Expansion in Sight
A key feature of Fuse360 is its integration with FusePay, the company’s Financial Operating System. While Fuse360 manages business operations, FusePay enables businesses to collect payments, pay suppliers and manage financial workflows through licensed payment infrastructure.
By connecting both products within one ecosystem, invoices, customer balances, supplier records and payments remain synchronised automatically. This reduces manual reconciliation while giving businesses a single source of accurate operational and financial information.
The platform also includes a dedicated retailer portal that allows retail customers to place orders, access invoices, download statements, review outstanding balances and communicate directly with suppliers. It further supports Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding, helping businesses strengthen customer verification before extending trade credit.
The development of Fuse360 is closely linked to the founders’ own experiences in family businesses. Thiyagarajan grew up working in his family’s retail business in Seychelles, while Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Francesco Rocchi spent his early years helping in his family’s wholesale business. Their experience with handwritten invoices, collections, reconciliation and customer credit influenced many of the workflows now built into the platform.
Reflecting on the company’s approach, Thiyagarajan said artificial intelligence provides an opportunity “to rethink how trade businesses should operate from the ground up,” allowing technology to become part of everyday business processes rather than an additional layer of software.
Although developed in Seychelles, Fusepay’s ambitions extend well beyond the island nation. The company believes artificial intelligence has created an opportunity for smaller markets to build globally competitive technology solutions. Fuse360 officially launched in Seychelles in July 2026, with expansion into Mauritius planned for September, followed by selected East and Southern African markets before the end of the year.
Looking ahead, Fusepay sees AI-native enterprise software as the future of business technology. Rather than relying on large, general-purpose systems, the company aims to build specialised digital infrastructure that understands how trade businesses operate. By bringing together operations, payments and artificial intelligence on one connected platform, Fusepay hopes to help wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers across Africa improve efficiency, strengthen financial management and support long-term business growth.
