Leading restaurant operations and financial management platform Foodics has launched a new relief initiative aimed at helping restaurant operators across the GCC and Egypt manage growing financial and operational challenges in the food and beverage industry.

The initiative, called “Forward Together” (قدّها مع بعض), comes at a time when many restaurants are dealing with rising supply chain costs, shrinking profit margins and changing market conditions. Through the program, Foodics plans to support businesses with financial flexibility, digital tools and AI-powered solutions that can help operators improve efficiency and create new revenue streams.

The company said the initiative is built around three main areas which are financial liquidity, revenue generation and smarter decision-making. As part of the program, restaurant operators will receive flexible payment terms on Foodics subscriptions for both new and renewing customers across different markets. The move is expected to ease short term financial pressure for businesses already struggling with increasing operating costs.

Foodics is also giving restaurants access to digital ordering tools including the Foodics Online Website and Self Ordering Kiosk at no additional cost during the initiative period. These tools are designed to help businesses increase sales opportunities and improve customer convenience as more consumers continue shifting toward digital dining experiences.

To further support restaurant operators, the company is also offering complimentary access to advanced AI solutions that provide predictive insights and operational support. The goal is to help restaurants make better business decisions while improving day-to-day efficiency.

Supporting a Sector That Drives Jobs and Economic Growth

Speaking on the launch, Ahmad AlZaini, Co-founder and CEO of Foodics, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting an industry that plays a major role in regional economies.

“The F&B industry employs over a million in our region and is considered one of the private sector drivers across GCC and North African markets. This is the backbone of these communities,” he said.

He added that many operators are currently facing difficult business conditions and Foodics believes it has a responsibility to step in and support them.

“At Foodics, we exist to help restaurants sustain growth. That mission is what drove us to build Forward Together. If we can play a role in keeping more doors open, then this is exactly where we need to show up,” AlZaini said.

The initiative will be rolled out across the GCC and Egypt, two of the region’s fastest growing foodservice markets. The GCC foodservice sector is currently valued at nearly US$70 billion and is expected to exceed US$121 billion by 2031. Egypt’s market is also projected to more than double during the same period, underlining the sector’s growing economic importance.

Growing Demand for Technology in the Restaurant Industry

According to Belal Zahran, Chief Revenue Officer at Foodics, the current market challenges are also accelerating demand for technology solutions that can help restaurant businesses become more efficient and financially stable.

“The F&B sector across our region continues to demonstrate strong growth potential, with markets evolving rapidly despite current pressures,” he said.

Zahran pointed specifically to Egypt’s foodservice industry, which is currently valued at around US$11.83 billion. He noted that businesses are increasingly turning to technology to control costs, improve operations and unlock new sources of income.

“This reflects a broader shift toward more efficient, tech enabled operations, where businesses are actively looking for ways to manage costs, improve performance and unlock new revenue streams,” he added.

Foodics currently powers the operations of more than 30,000 restaurants across the MENA region through its all-in-one restaurant management and payment technology platform. The company says its long-term mission is to help restaurant operators grow sustainable businesses while improving operational efficiency and financial stability across the sector.
