Fawry has partnered with Congineer to help retailers and businesses in Egypt manage sales, operations and digital payments through a more connected technology system. The collaboration brings together Retail Pro, Odoo and Fawry’s payment solutions to simplify daily business processes and improve operational efficiency.
Fawry, Egypt’s leading fintech company, announced the collaboration through Fawry Business. Congineer specialises in integrated technology solutions for the retail and business sectors and is the official authorised partner of Retail Pro in Egypt.
The partnership connects the Retail Pro system, through Congineer’s solutions, with Fawry’s point-of-sale (POS) and payment services. This allows merchants to manage sales through their existing operating system and process payments using Fawry’s solutions.
Businesses can use either Congineer’s POS devices or Fawry’s POS devices. This gives merchants greater flexibility when choosing how they manage their payment operations.
Integrated systems to improve daily business operations
The new solution brings sales management, POS functions and payment processing into one connected system. This can help businesses reduce manual work and make daily processes easier to manage.
Automation can also reduce human errors and speed up workflows. Businesses will have access to clearer reports covering both operational and financial activities. This provides management with a more complete view of business performance and financial transactions.
Nazmy Said, CEO of Congineer, said the company has been focused on creating an integrated technology ecosystem for merchants and businesses.
“At Congineer, we focus on developing an integrated ecosystem of technology solutions that helps merchants and businesses manage their operations in a more integrated and efficient manner,” Said said.
He added that Congineer uses global systems such as Retail Pro and Odoo while adapting its solutions to the needs of the Egyptian market.
“Our collaboration with Fawry represents an important step in this direction, as we work through the integration between Congineer’s solutions, Retail Pro, and Fawry’s payment solutions to provide merchants with a smoother and more flexible operational experience,” he said.
The partnership also adds flexibility to payroll management. Through the Fawry Business payroll portal, companies can schedule and transfer employee payments through bank accounts, e-wallets, myfawry yellowcard or cash vouchers.
This gives businesses several options for handling payroll while keeping payment processes within their wider digital operations.
Expanding digital solutions for Egyptian businesses
The collaboration forms part of Fawry Business’ strategy to expand its digital services for the business sector through partnerships with specialised technology providers.
For merchants and small and medium-sized businesses, the integration is designed to bring payment and operational management closer together. It also responds to the growing demand for digital tools that are flexible and easier to use.
Bassem Lotfy, Head of Business Development at Fawry, said the company is continuing to develop its digital offering through partnerships with specialised technology companies.
“Our collaboration with Congineer represents another step toward providing a more seamless experience for merchants and small and medium-sized business owners by offering payment and point-of-sale management solutions within a more integrated ecosystem,” Lotfy said.
The two companies plan to expand access to the integrated solution across Egypt’s retail sector and among business owners in the market.
They will also continue developing services that combine business management technology with fintech solutions. The wider goal is to support digital transformation, simplify business processes and improve the efficiency of day-to-day operations.
