Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards has reached its fifth anniversary and continues to prove its value as a platform that supports and celebrates the country’s brightest entrepreneurs. The fifth edition, held on November 21 at the Grand Egyptian Museum, welcomed more than 1,000 founders, investors, innovators, ecosystem partners and business leaders. The large turnout reflected the growing trust in the awards and the rising ambition in Egypt’s entrepreneurial community.
This year the initiative honoured winners across fifteen categories. The focus was on recognising the individuals and businesses that are pushing Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem forward. The ceremony also welcomed high-level figures including H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation and H.E. Dr. Tarek Shawky, Former Minister of Education and Technical Education.
Tatweer Misr continued as Strategic Partner for the fourth consecutive year, showing its long-term commitment to Egypt’s startup landscape and the potential of local talent.
A Celebration of Growth, Resilience and Five Years of Progress
The five-year mark is more than a milestone. It reflects the resilience and steady growth of an ecosystem that has continued to evolve through economic shifts and market challenges. The awards platform has become a place where founders can gain recognition, build confidence and connect with partners who can help them scale.
Amr Mansi, Founder and CEO of ievents and Founder of EEA, described the anniversary as a moment to recognise how much the ecosystem has grown. He highlighted that many startups honoured in previous editions have continued to push boundaries and contribute to Egypt’s transformation. He also reaffirmed that the initiative will remain dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs for years to come.
Tatweer Misr shares this long-term vision. Karim Radwan, CCO at Tatweer Misr, said the fifth edition highlights the strength of the company’s ongoing partnership with ievents.
