Agrovance Egypt Names 15 SMEs for New Agribusiness Acceleration Programme

Agrovance Egypt has announced the 15 agribusiness small and medium enterprises selected for its Agrovance Acceleration Programme, marking an important step in strengthening Egypt’s agricultural value chains. The selected companies represent a wide mix of agri-tech, sustainable inputs, food production, export services and smart farming solutions. Together, they reflect the growing role of innovation, sustainability and technology in shaping the future of Egyptian agriculture.

The programme is designed to help promising agribusiness SMEs scale their operations and increase their impact. Through tailored technical support, expert mentorship, access to finance opportunities and strategic market linkages, the selected companies will be supported to move into their next phase of growth. Agrovance Egypt noted that this cohort was chosen after a highly competitive application process, with strong interest from across the sector and a high standard of submissions.

By supporting these businesses, the initiative aims to improve productivity, reduce environmental impact, create jobs and strengthen Egypt’s position in local and international agricultural markets. The programme also aligns with broader goals around food security, sustainability and inclusive economic growth.

Supporting Innovation Across Egypt’s Agricultural Value Chain

The selected cohort includes companies working at different points along the agricultural value chain, from inputs and production to processing, exports and digital solutions.

Geneina is an agri-tech innovation company focused on reimagining how and where food is grown. It designs smart farming systems, including AI-powered greenhouses and indoor edible installations, helping farmers and urban spaces grow food efficiently throughout the year while reducing waste.

Plantopia for Sustainability Consultancy specializes in water, energy and food solutions under the Water Energy Food Nexus. The company works to reduce utility costs for businesses and households while supporting sustainable development goals through decarbonization, water conservation and food security initiatives.

ALPA Egypt, short for Agricultural and Landscape Project Advisors, provides consulting services in irrigation, drainage and landscape design. Its work focuses on turning agricultural and landscape projects into sustainable and successful ventures through technical expertise and hands-on supervision.

PAPERO brings an environmental focus through its eco-friendly paper solutions, supplying sustainable paper products designed to meet the needs of modern businesses while reducing environmental impact.

Dawood Farms produces 100 percent organic mangoes and lemons from its farm in Aswan and sources other premium produce from trusted suppliers. The company serves both end consumers through its online platform and premium retail stores across Egypt.

Agrican develops autonomous robots with Internet of Things capabilities to support smart farming. Its technology enables precise pesticide use, efficient irrigation and real-time crop monitoring, helping farmers lower costs while reducing environmental harm.

AgriFood Serv, also known as Agri Soul, develops eco-friendly agricultural products for fertilization and plant disease control. The startup focuses on reducing excessive agrochemical use, promoting organic agriculture and building awareness and partnerships across the agricultural community.

Nano Green Egypt is a biotechnology startup producing bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides designed to support plant growth while protecting soil and water resources. The company aims to increase crop yields and lower production costs for farmers.

Grow Up Services and Integrated Solutions LLC focuses on supporting agricultural exports, particularly to the European Union. The company offers integrated solutions that help Egyptian farmers and agribusinesses meet strict EU standards in food safety, traceability and quality.

Oblnd Food Ingredients supplies premium organic dried herbs, seeds and spices sourced from trusted Egyptian growers. The company emphasizes full traceability, strong quality control and sustainable partnerships across its supply chain.

MicroFert develops natural bio-fertilizers that enhance soil fertility and plant growth while reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers. Its products support clean and sustainable farming practices.

Dutch Biofertex works in sustainable biofertilizers and regenerative farming, with a mission to improve soil fertility and enhance crop productivity using bio-based products.

Agroptics offers a software platform that uses satellite remote sensing to improve irrigation management and farm decision-making. Its solution helps farmers save water, reduce costs and increase profitability while managing farms more efficiently.

FreshFlow Global is an exporter of fresh, frozen and dried fruits and vegetables. The company connects trusted Egyptian farms with global markets, supplying international supermarkets, wholesalers and distributors.

Al Arabia for Irrigation and Agriculture Development completes the cohort, contributing expertise in irrigation and agricultural development to support more efficient and productive farming systems.

A Platform for Growth, Finance and Long-Term Impact

Agrovance Egypt plays a central role in supporting agribusiness SMEs at different stages of growth. Its work includes acceleration programmes for early-stage companies, growth management support for established businesses, technical assistance, mentorship, access to finance and market connections. The initiative supports enterprises working in sustainable agriculture, food production and processing, eco-friendly inputs, waste and recycling, renewable energy, smart agri-tech, eco-friendly materials and agri-digital and fintech services.

The Agrovance Acceleration Programme is part of a two-year project funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt and implemented by Chemonics Egypt Consultants in partnership with CARE Egypt Foundation. By investing in innovative local businesses, the programme aims to build a stronger, more resilient and more sustainable agricultural sector in Egypt.

Agrovance Egypt has also acknowledged all companies that applied but were not selected in this round, encouraging them to remain engaged with the Agrovance community and take part in future programmes and opportunities. As the selected cohort begins its acceleration journey, the programme is expected to deliver practical results that benefit farmers, businesses and the wider economy.
